“You win some, you lose some, you wreck some.” Dale Earnhardt

When things go well, who gets the credit? When things go badly, who gets the blame?

If you’re like most people, everyone gets the blame for the latter. Everyone from competitors, coaches, event organizers, equipment – even the weather!
Accept the fact that you will not achieve the results you want all the time. Sometimes you will lose, and sometimes you will win. Sometimes you’ll become the “victim” of things that appear beyond your control. But most of the time you are responsible for what happens to you – whether you like it or not. Top athletes accept responsibility for both good and bad results – unlike the Proteas! You create the conditions that lead to upwards of 85% of things that happen to you through your focus, mental approach and physical preparation.
